Shaffer Named Michael Aram CEO

NEW YORK--Michael Aram Inc. has appointed Samuel Shaffer CEO.

Shaffer has succeeded Sebastian Herald, who left the company after nine years to pursue other opportunities. Prior to joining the designer brand, Shaffer was vice president of sales and marketing of Bright Group and senior vice president of Edward Ferrel and Lewis Mittman, manufacturers and distributors of luxury designer furniture. He also served as vice president of marketing and sales for Liora Manne Inc., the rug and fabric manufacturer.

Shaffer's career also includes marketing positions with Bain, Coach, Black & Decker and Knoll. Michael Aram said, "With Sam in his new leadership position, I am confident of further success and for what I anticipate will be an exciting new era for the company."
