Slater Named CEO of Nielsen Bainbridge Group

AUSTIN, Texas-Framing industry veteran Scott Slater has been appointed CEO of the new Nielsen Bainbridge Group, maker of Nielsen Bainbridge, Burnes, and Pinnacle frames and albums.  He succeeds Bob Kroll, who recently announced his retirement.

"This is an exciting time for the Nielsen Bainbridge Group," Slater said in a statement. "With three of the industry's leading brands--Nielsen Bainbridge, Burnes, and Pinnacle--we have unparalleled product development and sourcing capabilities along with a world-class management team.  We are well-positioned to lead the market and grow into a global force."

Slater brings more than 30 years of framing industry experience and leadership to the Nielsen Bainbridge Group.  He has served as president of Pinnacle Frames & Accents since 2004. Slater will continue as Pinnacle president along with his new duties as the Nielsen Bainbridge Group chief executive. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Slater was president of the Burnes Group. He began his career at Intercraft in 1978 and, over the years, held leadership roles in the U.S., Australia, Canada, and United Kingdom, the company said.
