Softline Marks 10th Anniversary

LOS ANGELES-Softline Home Fashions celebrated its 10th birthday in business on Aug. 17.

The fabric and finished-textiles vendor was founded by Jason and Rodney Carr, brothers who are natives of Montreal. Jason Carr is the company's president, and Rodney Carr is its director. It began by selling fabrics and moved into finished products, which now encompass window treatments and decorative pillows, in 2004.

Softline's current customer base now includes fabric stores, specialty stores, department stores, catalogs, mass merchants and online retail sites. Along with the United States and Canada, the company also sells to retailers in Mexico, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Australia and South America.
