GLM: NYIGF Accent on Design Sold Out

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-The Accent on Design section of the New York International Gift Fair has sold out its space for the August show, according to GLM, the show's owner and manager.

The section will feature the work of 200 contemporary design resources, nearly 25 of which will be showing in the section for the first time, GLM said in a statement. Two design collectives, JOIN Design Seattle and the American Design Club, will be positioned near the entrance to Accent on Design.

In addition, A+: The Young Designers' Platform will be at the base of the escalators at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center--which, along with Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94, serves as NYIGF's location. The A+ section serves as a showcase for emerging designers and will feature four companies: Paper Punk of Mill Valley, Calif., sit n d'amico of Brooklyn, N.Y., thirtyfive creative works of New York City and Tunapaper from Seoul, South Korea.
