Architectural Digest Home Design Show Comes to New York Next Month

NEW YORK-The Ninth Annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show is slated to take place next month at New York's Pier 94, March 18 to 21, and will include more than 300 home furnishings companies, including manufacturers, retailers and design firms. The event will include a new section, called Outdoor Decor, filled with outdoor accessories and furnishings and anchored by a summer-themed patio, as well as an expanded Made section, a selection of limited-edition and one-of-a-kind art objects and furnishings that will include 80 artisans.

In addition, attendees can tour a model apartment called the Essential Home, a collaboration among Ligne Roset, Valcucine, Coro, Rimadesio and Listone Giordano by Margaritelli. The Culinary Pavilion, sponsored by Poggenpohl, will include cooking demonstrations by New York's top chefs. And high-end upholstery leather company Moore & Giles will show a revamped Airstream Studio trailer to showcase applications of leather in an interior space.

The show is open to the trade only on Thursday, March 18, and to the public the rest of the weekend.
