Nextt’s Arun Agarwal Appointed to the Texas Business Board

AUSTIN, Texas-Arun Agarwal, CEO of Nextt, has been appointed to the Texas Product Development and Small Business Incubator Board by Gov. Greg Abbott.

Agarwal is the first Indian-American to be appointed to the board, according to a statement from Nextt, a supplier of home textiles, apparel and apparel fabrics, and polyester yarns. He will serve on the board for one term that will expire Feb. 1, 2019.

The board advises the Texas Economic Development Bank on the administration of the Product Development Fund and the Small Business Incubator Fund, revolving loan programs that provide financing to aid in the development, production and commercialization of new or improved products and to foster small business within Texas.

Along with his leadership of Nextt, Agarwal is a board member of Gift for Life, a board member of the US-India Chamber of Commerce DFW, an honorary advisory board member of the Indian American Friendship Council and a member of the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce.
