NEW YORK-The 2016 winter edition of NY Now opened for business yesterday, with a panoply of new products in the spotlight for retailers who spent part of their Sunday hoping to find next season’s winners.

Among textiles vendors, Matouk presented the Ellison bed ensembles, a yarn-dyed sateen with a men’s shirt design; and Minerva, a floral ensembles paired with the Luca quilt and Avelino pillow shams. The company also displayed its line of Pineapple beach towels, a grouping with pineapple designs in vivid and fun colors ...

KennebunkDannFoleyThe Dann Foley Lifestyle line at Kennebunk Home
Kennebunk Home spotlighted its Dann Foley Lifestyle line of throws, its first licensed collection which connected the company with interior designer Foley. The throws featured a variety of colors in stripes and geometrics ... Betsy Olmsted offered up the company’s new Spring Meadow decorative pillow, featuring an original watercolor of rabbits by Olmsted printed digitally with reactive dyes made in India.

The Summer Ethnic throw from Scents & Feel is a jacquard throw handwoven in combed natural cotton, with subtle hues of blue ... Talini is debuting its line of throws made of 100 percent cashmere in nine colors, with a contrast color blanket stitch edge and measuring 53-by-73 inches ... The Stella decorative pillow by

LinenMe introduced Marta, a patterned throw made of merino wool and designed with multicolored fringes, in red/orange, red/green and blue/gray colorways.

To help inaugurate the winter show, the International Furnishings and Design Association presented its IFDA Selects Winter 2016 Awards, which highlighted new and innovative products debuting at NY Now. The winners were:
