O'Brien to Keynote California Gift Show

LOS ANGELES--Designer Thomas O'Brien will deliver the keynote address at the California Gift Show on Jan. 21.

O'Brien will speak about the inspirations that have shaped his design philosophy, including classic, modern and traditional styles. He will also discuss his new book, "American Modern," a survey of seven of his most influential projects.

The O'Brien session is one of a slate of market events, which will include business-building workshops, events on the latest trends, product demonstrations, book signings, raffles and anniversary parties. The show is scheduled from Jan. 18-24 at L.A. Mart and the Los Angeles Convention Center.
