Dallas Total Home & Gift Market Opens Today

DallasTotalHomeDALLAS-The Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, which includes the Dallas International Lighting Market and the Dallas Total Housewares & Gourmet Market, opens today at the Dallas Market Center.

A full schedule of events takes place this week, with a few kicking off the market today. At the Culinary Stage in the World Trade Center, demonstrations include Messermeister German knives at 2 p.m., SodaStream at 3 p.m. and USA Pans at 4 p.m.

Lighting company Crystorama (Trade Mart 3503) will host its chocolate happy hour today as well, which includes the presentation of Crystorama's Rep of the Year Award. The party will run from 4-6 p.m., and the awards ceremony will be held at 5 p.m.

Surya has opened its first showroom in Dallas and it will celebrate the opening with a party tonight, beginning at 5 p.m. The 14,000 square-foot showroom will be located in the Dallas Market Center's World Trade Center, space 5-560.

A chance for lighting industry executives under 40 years of age to mingle will also be offered tonight at the Young Lighting Executives Reception. It will take place at 6 p.m. on the third floor of the Trade Mart.

The 25th Annual ARTS Awards will take place this Saturday at the Hilton Anatole, and those who want to view the finalists can do so throughout market on the fourth floor of the TM.
