Panasonic Names Bauer to Lead Consumer Electronics in North America

SECAUCUS, N.J.-Julie Bauer has been appointed president of Panasonic Consumer Electronics, taking charge of this division for North America.
The move puts Bauer in the leadership role for Panasonic's home appliances, personal-care products, televisions, imaging products and audio products in North America. She reports to Joe Taylor, chairman and CEO of Panasonic North America. She is succeeding Shiro Kitajima, who left the position in March.
