Flur to Exit Family Dollar

MATTHEWS, N.C.-Dorlisa K. Flur, vice chair of strategy and chief administrative officer of Family Dollar, will leave the company to pursue other interests on May 2.

Flur joined the retailer in 2004 as senior vice president of strategy and business development. In 2008, she was promoted to executive vice president of strategy and marketing, and in 2009 she became executive vice president and chief merchandising officer. She was promoted to her current roles last September.

A Family Dollar statement did not reveal whether a search has begun for Flur's successor. Howard Levine, chairman and CEO, called Flur "a valued part of our team."
