Jarden Moves Up on Fortune 500

RYE, N.Y.-With 2010 net sales of $6.023 billion, Jarden Corp. has finished 379th on this year's Fortune 500 list.

This year marks the fourth appearance on the list by the housewares giant. Jarden debuted on this list in 2008 at 492nd. In 2009, it finished 442nd and last year it ranked 406th.

Martin Franklin, Jarden's chairman and CEO, said the company's progression on the Fortune 500 "reflects the strength of our business strategy, our diversified portfolio of niche market-leading brands, our operational excellence and the continuous achievements of our dedicated employees around the world."
