Groupon Swings Deal for ideeli

CHICAGO-Groupon has acquired ideeli, the online flash fashion retailer, for $43 million.
The deal closed yesterday, and according to a Groupon statement, it enhances its presence in fashion and apparel. Founded in 2007, ideeli carries merchandise from leading brands in women's and men's apparel, accessories and home decor at what Groupon described as "significant savings." Groupon said ideeli will maintain both its New York headquarters and its separate website.
