High PointHIGH POINT, N.C.-The spring High Point Market opens today with thousands of product introductions--plus a plethora of networking opportunities--on tap.

Among the notable happenings, Trump Home by Dorya is unveiling a new 50-piece furniture collection; Surya is showing its first foray into the bedding category; Highland House is debuting a furniture collection from Barclay Butera; Amer will show more than a dozen rug collections; Habersham will preview its latest Biltmore-branded offerings; Bassett Furniture is expanding its motion furniture; and Lexington Home Brands is showing its Kiliminjaro by Tommy Bahama Home.

Today's parties include:

3-5 p.m.: Imax celebrates 30 years in business with cake and a champagne toast at 3 p.m. IHFC, W446

3-7 p.m.: Nourison hosts a martini bar from 3-6 p.m., and a wine and cheese bar from 4-7 p.m. IHFC, IH101
