Rothman Named House Beautiful Style Director

NEW YORK-Sabine Rothman is joining House Beautiful magazine as style director, filling the position that became vacant when Newell Turner was named editor-in-chief of the publication earlier this year.

Rothman had been senior design and markets editor for Traditional Home, which she joined in 2008 following a number of years at House & Garden. She assumes her new position on July 19 and will report to Turner.

Turner took over the top spot at the magazine when Steven Drucker became editor-in-chief of Town & Country in April. Both it and House Beautiful are part of the Hearst magazine stable.
