HFN’s Zisko to Speak at IFDA Event

She will focus on current trends in entertaining and the tabletop industry

NEW YORK-Allison Zisko, managing editor and tabletop editor of HFN, will deliver a presentation titled “How We Entertain Today” for the International Furnishings and Design Association.

Scheduled for June 9, the event will take place at the Fisher & Paykel showroom in the A&D building, 150 E. 58th St. here, from 5:30-8 p.m. Zisko will share her insights on the current state of the tabletop industry, which she has covered for 16 years at HFN, and will focus on the challenges and opportunities affecting the business as well as the top fashion trends and consumer’s attitudes toward dining and entertaining at home.

Aside from Zisko’s talk, the event will feature tabletop design vignettes by IFDA designers. Food and wine will also be offered.

Prior to June 6, the event fees will be $25 for IFDA members, no charge for student members, $45 for guests and $5 for student guests. On June 6 and after, the fees will be $40 for IFDA members, $10 for student members, $60 for guests and $15 for student guests. Attendees can register for the event by clicking here.
