Target Forms Digital Advisory Council

MINNEAPOLIS-Seeking to accelerate its omnichannel strategy, Target has created a Digital Advisory Council, consisting of technology industry executives who will help guide the retailer accelerate its digital transformation.
The group consists of Ajay Agarwal, managing director of Bain Capital Ventures; Amy Chang, CEO and co-founder of Accompani and former leader of Google Analytics; Roger Liew, chief technology officer of Orbitz Worldwide; and Sam Yagan, CEO of the Match Group and CEO and founder of OkCupid. A Target statement said the council will explore new ways to leverage technology to enhance the shopper experience both in stores and online. They will meet quarterly as a group with Casey Carl, Target's president of omnichannel, and others in the company involved with its omnichannel strategies.
