Fiesta Expands into Bed, Bath with New License Agreements

Homer Laughlin China CompanyNEWELL, W.Va.-The Homer Laughlin China Company, maker of Fiesta ware, has entered a new license partnership with Ellison First Asia and an expanded partnership with Town & Country Living for an extensive collection of bed and bath linens.

Both the bedding and bath collections will debut at the New York Home Fashions Market next month. Manufacturers are targeting department stores, dot-coms, catalogs and specialty stores with a spring 2014 debut.

EFA's mix and match collection, using Fiesta's signature color spectrum, includes comforters, duvet covers, bed skirts, shams, Euro pillows, accent pillows, quilts, coverlets, sheets, blankets and throws, and accent window treatments. Town & Country, which has had "tremendous" success with its collection of Fiesta kitchen textiles and tabletop linens introduced last September, according to Homer Laughlin, will now offer a variety of linens for the bathroom, including solid bath, hand and face towels, jacquard-woven towels with matching robes, print towels, coordinating shower curtains, ceramic bath accessories in 12 colors, matching bath rugs, as well as updates to the current line of kitchen textiles and tabletop.

"For Fiesta, the addition of bedding and bath are an exciting yet natural progression for the brand as our consumers continue to demand more lifestyle compliments to their everyday style and home decor. We are so pleased to be working with two outstanding resources that bring innovation and style to the textile industry," said Rich Brinkman, vice president of sales and marketing at Homer Laughlin.
