Ambiente India Slated for June

ambiente-IN_4CNEW DELHI-The debut of Ambiente India, a version of Ambiente geared specifically toward the Indian luxury market, is scheduled for June 19-21 at Pragati Maidan here.

The show will spotlight manufacturers of upper-end home decor and accessories. The show will be divided into the categories of Dining, Giving and Living. According to a statement from Messe Frankfurt India, which is managing the new show, the home fashion and decor market in that country is currently valued at about $23.3 billion annually, with an average growth rate of about 10 percent a year.

Raj Manek, managing director of Messe Frankfurt India, said, "We intend to create a bridge for local exhibitors to expand their brands in international markets while allowing an opportunity to Indian interior designers, architects and retail chains to explore next season's home fashion trends."
