SAN FRANCISCO-Tabletop company Lunares, best known for its sculptural handcast aluminum creations, has named Sebastian Herald as its new CEO--a new position for the company.

Herald most recently served as CEO of Michael Aram. "Sebastian brings a blend of industry expertise, business strategy and operational insights, filtered through a keen design understanding--a rare combination of skills," said company founder Nima Oberoi. "As a design company with a unique point of view, this critical perspective allows us to maintain the integrity of who and what we've always been while challenging ourselves to reach even greater

heights."

"I came to Lunares because my first love is working with artisanal brands," Herald said. "The process of taking years of earnest and beautiful creative work and respectfully crafting it into a brand that is entirely built on its own history and vision is what I get the most fulfillment out of and where my abilities are best suited. I love Nima's work and her creative perspective. It's time to vividly tell that story to an even wider audience."
