NEW YORK— Chef Marcus Samuelsson will present a cooking demonstration for shoppers as a warm up to Harlem EatUp! Festival this Sunday at Macy’s Herald Square.

The Harlem EatUp! Festival is a four-day event that takes place next month. Samuelsson is a member of Macy’s Culinary Council—made up of expert chefs nationwide—as well as a co-producer of Harlem EatUp! and a restaurateur in Harlem. He owns Red Rooster Harlem and Ginny’s Supper Club in that neighborhood, as well as others.

Beginning on April 10 at 3 p.m. on the location’s 8th floor, Samuelsson will share tips on how to prepare his favorite award-winning dishes. He will also sign copies of his book immediately following the demonstration for shoppers who make any purchase of $35 or more in the Home department, while supplies last. Harlem EatUp! is scheduled for May 19-22.
