Agio Extends Merchandise Mart Lease

AgioCHICAGO-Agio is extending its lease for its Merchandise Mart showroom, in room 1628.

Terms for the extended lease were not disclosed in a Merchandise Mart statement. “Agio is no doubt (a casual furniture) industry leader, and extending their lease at The Mart reinforces our strategy of attracting and maintaining key manufacturers and growing the audience distribution of Casual Market Chicago,” said Byron Morton, The Mart’s vice president of leasing. Casual Market Chicago is the recently renamed International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market.

Bob Gaylord, Agio’s president, said, “Casual Market Chicago is the benchmark show for the casual industry and attracts not only the top specialty retailers, but also the top furniture stores, online retailers and catalogs that are contributing to Agio’s growth over the last several years.”
