SharkNinja Named ERA Marketer of the Year

SharkNinjaNEWTON, Mass.-SharkNinja, parent of the Shark brand of floor-care products and the Ninja brand of small electrics, has been designated the 2015 Marketer of the Year by the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA).

The association bestowed the award at its annual Moxie Awards Gala in Las Vegas on Oct. 8. The company, which changed its name from Euro-Pro in July, also took home the award for Best Short Form, Housewares for the Shark Powered Lift-Away vacuum. The annual awards recognize the best in television, radio, online and mobile direct-response marketing.

This year marked the third consecutive year SharkNinja was named a finalist for the Marketer of the Year award. The company was a runner-up in 2013 and 2014.

“SharkNinja is thrilled to receive the top honor of Marketer of the Year, and proud of the accomplishments we’ve achieved to be nominated year after year by the ERA,” said George Fettig, SharkNinja’s chief marketing officer. “Innovation is in the DNA of our company, from R&D to marketing, and we are excited to be acknowledged for our industry leading endeavors.”
