NY Now Handmade Accepts 56 Artisans

NY NowWHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-The NY Now Handmade section will welcome 56 new artisan exhibitors at the winter show, which will take place from Feb. 1-5.

Handmade's Designer Maker section will showcase 350 limited-production manufacturers across all categories and media. They will come from 33 U.S. states and seven countries, among the latter of which will be artisans from Australia, Canada and Israel, as well as pavilions from Germany and the United Kingdom. Handmade's Global Design section will encompass 150 exhibitors from around the world, and will focus on traditional craftsmanship, design and community building through fair-trade practices.

NY Now will also hold several events and seminars directed toward craft retailers and artisans. These will include a four-day series of seminars offered by Craft Retailers' Association for Tomorrow (CRAFT), which will cover social media, content marketing and e-commerce.

Artisan Resource, the trade event spotlighting international artisanal producers, will run concurrently with NY Now at Pier 94 of the Passenger Ship Terminal in New York City. In connection with Artisan Resource, "Importing 101" sessions will be offered daily.
