Oral-B Honors Dads for Father's Day

CINCINNATI-The Oral-B toothbrush brand of Procter & Gamble has launched several efforts for Father's Day.

The brand has created a video tribute to fathers taken from "thousands of YouTube clips that captured the pure and authentic moments spontaneously captured by father and child," said Rishi Dhingra, P&G marketing director. The video can be seen on powerofdad.com. After the end of the video, viewers can get a $7 coupon toward the purchase of any Oral-B electric toothbrush.

Oral-B has also partnered with the March of Dimes, the nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health, an alliance that includes a $25,000 donation. As part of this partnership, actor and singer Nick Cannon will speak with new fathers at an upcoming event in Los Angeles.

In the statement, Oral-B cited its new Deep Sweep Triaction toothbrush, which combines the brushing motion of a manual brush with advanced triple-zone cleaning action. The brand said this technology enables the toothbrush to cover more surface area and remove up to 100 percent more plaque versus a manual toothbrush.
