SAN DIEGO—PBteen has opened a pop-up store here, the largest of its locations, that will remain open for about one year.

Occupying more than 5,000 square feet at The Mall at University Town Center, the store offers design service experts to help customers design their ultimate bedroom, study space, lounge and dorm room. To celebrate the opening last Friday, PBteen partnered with local influencers, McKenna Blue and Jaysea DeVoe, to host a series of events including a flower crown class and a decorating demonstration. Fourteen-year-old yoga instructor DeVoe, of SeaVibes Yoga studio, gave yoga classes and hosted style sessions focused on creating the ultimate zen space to practice yoga at home.

In addition to in-store events, customers have a chance to win PBteen gift cards with values ranging from $50-$250, plus one “golden ticket” $500 gift card.

“This new location will allow our customers the localized opportunity to experience our product assortment and work with design experts to discover fun, easy and creative ways to design their dream space,” said Jennifer Kellor, executive vice president of merchandising for PBteen and Pottery Barn Kids.
