Lifetime to Launch Savora Brand of Gadgets

GARDEN CITY, N.Y.-Lifetime Brands will introduce Savora, a new brand of kitchen tools and gadgets next month that it promises "will elevate the art of food preparation." The initial collection includes a food grater, chopper, oil mister and garlic press that emphasize form, function and design.

"Our design team was charged with creating a line of kitchen tools and gadgets that redefined the look and feel of food preparation," said Dan Siegel, Lifetime's executive vice president. "They conducted extensive research to determine the optimal functionality for each product, and the resulting collection is crafted to deliver the ultimate user experience."

Sid Ramnarace, vice president of global brand integration, added, "With Savora, we studied the passion and romance surrounding food culture; these kitchen tools and gadgets are designed to move people emotionally."

The Savora line is targeted at independent gourmet retailers, department and specialty stores, as well as savorastyle.com. Retail prices range from $24.99 for the mister to $39.99 for the chopper.
