Potential buyers already looking at the company

HomeSourcelogo3x2ATLANTA-Home Source International, the home textiles company, is looking for a buyer or a partner to invest in its business.

The company has put itself on the block due to “recent developments” and “unforeseen circumstances,” said Scott Sorgeloos, the company’s chief operating officer. Sorgeloos declined to elaborate on these circumstances in a telephone interview with HFN. He also said potential buyers have already begun their due diligence on the company.

The Home Source business includes its Home Source Manufacturing subsidiary, located in Marianna, Fla. “Home Source has an import retail business, provides [third party logistics provider] services for wholesalers and their customers such as designers, retailers, and specialty boutiques, and has a 300,000-square-foot turnkey facility featuring a bedding cut and sew operation,” said a company statement.

Home Source was founded in 2000 by veteran textiles executive Keith Sorgeloos, Scott Sorgeloos’ father and current president and CEO of the company.

GGG Partners, also based here, is serving as the company’s financial advisor in this process.
