Sea Gull Lighting Awarded 2012 Energy Star

RIVERSIDE, N.J.-An Energy Star partner since 1992, Sea Gull Lighting recently received a 2012 Energy Star Award for Excellence in Energy Star Promotion from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The award recognizes Sea Gull Lighting's work in promoting products and programs that meet Energy Star for energy efficiency, a release said. The company received the award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 15, 2012, which marks the 20th anniversary of Energy Star.
"As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Energy Star program, Sea Gull Lighting has been a valued partner to the EPA; they truly embody our Energy Star spirit. We are proud to recognize Sea Gull Lighting with the 2012 Energy Star Award for Excellence in Energy Star Promotion," said EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson. "Sea Gull Lighting demonstrates how the leadership and commitment from EPA's partners has made a difference in the lives of Americans, helping them save billions of dollars in energy costs and improving the health of our families, the planet and our future."

Award winners are selected from about 20,000 organizations that participate in the Energy Star program.
