Select Brands to Launch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Electrics Line

LENEXA, Kan.—Select Brands has reached an agreement with Nickelodeon to introduce a collection of small electrics to be branded under the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The line will be on display at this weekend’s International Home + Housewares Show at the Select Brands booth, L12331 in the Lakeside Building of McCormick Place in Chicago, the show’s locale. It includes three different Turtles mug warmer sets; two Turtles waffle maker styles; a one-cup coffee maker with a ceramic mug; and The World’s Most Awesome Pizza Maker, which can make a 12-inch frozen or homemade pizza.

Select Brands has focused the new line on the classic, 1980s-style Turtles. It will debut at retail this fall.

“The launch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles kitchen appliances will extend the reach of this classic franchise within the home category,” said Eric Endres, the company’s vice president of marketing. Referring to the retro feel of the design, Endres added, “We want to bring a touch of nostalgia into the kitchens of this very devoted fan base.”
