Tommy Mitchell Company to Receive ARTS Awards’ Rising Star Honor

27th ARTS AwardsDALLAS—Tommy Mitchell Company, a Chapel Hill, N.C.-based maker of handmade intricate metal art work, will receive the Rising Star Award at the 27th annual ARTS Awards, which takes place Jan. 22, 2016, according to Dallas Market Center.

With more than 20 years of experience as an artisan and art restorer, creator and designer Tommy Mitchell, along with his team of artisans, hand make installations of copper, brass, steel, paint and gold leaf. Mitchell is recognized for his notable tactile finishes and dedication to detail in his unusual designs, now available to the wholesale market.

The Rising Star Award recognizes innovation and modern excellence demonstrated by a young and growing home industry company and is selected by a committee of industry peers. The awards take place during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.
