NEW YORK-HSN Inc. CEO Mindy Grossman was honored at UNICEF’s 11th annual Snowflake Ball here earlier this week.

Grossman, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF national board vice chair, was honored with the Spirit of Compassion award. Actor and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom was recognized with the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award and the organization’s chief operating officer/chief financial officer, Edward G. Lloyd, received the Helenka Pantaleoni Humanitarian Award, all for their long-standing efforts to put children first.

The event, held Dec. 1 at Cipriani Wall Street, featured the lighting of the UNICEF Snowflake, a performance by Grammy Award-winning artist P!nk and a live auction hosted by auctioneer CK Swett. A custom menu was prepared by chefs Amanda Cohen, Jessica Weiss and UNICEF Ambassador Marcus Samuelsson, and décor was designed by HGTV star and UNICEF Ambassador Vern Yip. Baccarat, who supplied the 16,000 crystals that decorate the snowflake that is suspended above 57th Street and Fifth Avenue here, served as Patron Gift Sponsor.
