Polder Expands to the United Kingdom

PolderOXFORD, Conn.-Polder Housewares has opened operations in the United Kingdom.

The company said it will offer warehousing of its products and a full sales and customer service capability to the U.K. wholesale market beginning in Jan. 2015. Polder's warehousing and customer service team will be based in the south of London, in addition to management and sales agent coverage for all U.K. markets.

"We are excited to offer the U.K. consumer our full line of innovative products for the home," said Calvin Scott, president of Polder. "The company's expansion into the United Kingdom is a key component of our ongoing growth strategy, and is the next step in becoming a global brand."

Currently, Polder serves the United States through its warehouse facilities in Oxford, Conn., and Los Angeles. The company also supplies Canada, Mexico and multiple other countries through exclusive distribution. By using the new U.K. operation as a base, Polder said it will have the ability to sell its products throughout the rest of Europe as well.
