LAS VEGAS-Josef Wiser, lead sales representative for furniture manufacturer Zuo Modern, passed away July 4 from cancer. He was 64.

Wiser worked for Zuo Modern for the last 10 years, covering the territory of Nevada, Arizona and southern California. He also led all of the company's other sales representatives.

Wiser, a native of Austria who later moved to California and then Nevada, started his career in the furniture industry in the 1980s, according to Luis Ruesga, CEO of Zuo, who said Wiser will be remembered as "very honest and humble ... an example of being a decent human being and a great friend."

Wiser will be remembered in a memorial on Saturday, July 26 during Las Vegas Market in Zuo Modern's showroom at the World Market Center, Building B, Space 758 at 6 p.m.
