Authors Spungen, Petras, Holland Slated for Summer NY Now

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-Book authors Susan Spungen, Kathryn Petras and Jennifer S. Holland will appear at this summer's NY Now, formerly known as the New York International Gift Fair.

Spungen, whose book, "What's a Hostess to Do? Including 313 Ideas and Inspirations for Effortless Entertaining and 121 Recipes for Spectacular Party Food" will be published in May, will appear on Aug. 18. Petras, author of "Don't Forget to Sing in the Lifeboats" and co-author of the "Stupidest" series, is scheduled to appear on Aug. 19. Holland, senior writer for National Geographic and author of "Unlikely Loves," will appear on Aug. 20.

Each author will appear from 9-9:45 a.m. at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, one of the venues of NY Now along with Passenger Ship Terminal Pier 94. These ticketed events will include a short presentation and reading by the author, followed by a question-and-answer session and a book signing.

The summer NY Now is scheduled to take place from Aug. 17-21.
