Dacron Brand Launches Twitter Campaign for Holidays

KENNESAW, Ga.-The Dacron brand of fiberfill from Invista has debuted "12 Holi-Daze of Dacron Fiberfill," a campaign on Twitter designed to teach consumers about sleep.

The program, which launched yesterday, includes the tweeting of holiday sleeping tips, brain teasers and "fun facts" about sleep, according to a Twitter statement. The Dacron brand team is also providing tweets that highlight bedding features of Invista's branded fibers, including the recently introduced Dacron Memorelle featuring smart technology, an alternative to memory foam that, according to Invista, is gentler on pressure points and more adaptable to the sleeper's movements. Pillows made with this fiber are slated to reach stores in early 2012.

Followers of the campaign on Twitter can also win a pair of branded minipillows and a $50 gift card that could be put toward a bedding purchase. Details of the campaign are on the invista.com/en/brands/dacron.html website.
