NEW YORK-The website for Elizabeth Miller Home for the Cure, an organization founded to provide support in the fight against breast cancer, has gone live at homeforthecure.org.
The organization is named after Elizabeth Miller, senior vice president of design for the Karastan division of Mohawk Industries, who died in 2010 after a five-year battle against breast cancer. The site includes a biography of Miller, a page through which donations to breast-cancer research can be made, an appreciation page of companies that have provided support, and a picture of Team Elizabeth, a group of textiles executives who participated in the 2010
The organization also has a Facebook page, facebook.com/ElizabethMillerHFTC, and is on Twitter at twitter.com/#%21/homeforthecure. Those who make donations through the site are automatically entered into a raffle for prizes including jewelry and bedding.
