Fifteen Companies Committed in Debut of Gift+Home's C3

LAS VEGAS-Fifteen companies have signed on to participate in the debut of Gift+Home's new C3 Collection at the next Las Vegas Market, Jan. 28-Feb. 1, 2013. Part of the strategy to bolster the gift and home area of the market, the third floor of the Building C will be a concentration of better home products and is expected to showcase 25 suppliers in total.

"The C3 collection will be diverse in product offerings, but cohesive in character," said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift and Home Decor at International Market Centers, parent company of World Market Center Las Vegas. "Together, these companies will create a compelling presentation of better home decor and home textile resources."

C3 includes three existing C3 tenants--Classic Home, Feizy and Karastan--which will serve as anchors, and six current World Market Center tenants that will relocate onto the floor: Art Classics, Bramble Co., Etoffe Makara, Jeffan, Jesco Lighting and Peninsula Home. In addition, six companies will make their debut at the Las Vegas market as part of the C3 Collection: Bliss Studio, Design Legacy by Kelly O'Neal, Light & Living, Santangelo Lighting & Design, Selamat and World's Away.

C3's location also offers shopping efficiencies for home and lifestyle buyers as the two floors above it--C4 and C5--showcase  temporary exhibits in such home product categories as decorative accessories, textiles, gourmet, global and vintage. C3 is also connected by a bridge directly to the World Market Center's B3 Collection, which debuted in summer 2012 and has an emphasis on high-end, fashion forward goods.

Many expected 2016 would be a banner year, but the political and economic climate softened consumer confidence. It was also a year consumers spent more lavishly on home remodeling rather than decorating.
