WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-This summer's New York International Gift Fair will feature more than 50 educational sessions, social events, product awards and feature displays, according to a statement from GLM, the show's owner and manager.

The seminars will focus on home design trends, retail strategies, sustainability and technology. Among the highlights are a two-part session by Constant Contact that will address social media and digital marketing tools, and a three-track design series exploring home design trends, color trends and the intersection of fashion and home design.

The summer show will also feature the return of the Gourmet Housewares Show and the debut of Artisanal Resource, which will run concurrently with NYIGF and will offer access for attendees to artisanal vendors.

Special events during the Gift Fair include the 61st Annual Retailer Excellence Awards, recognizing excellence in retailing and individual achievement. Also, the show's Night on Broadway will offer specially priced tickets to "Ghost."
