GLM Expands 365 Platform to Other Shows
August 16, 2013,
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-"Soaring numbers" of manufacturers are participating in nynow365, GLM's online product directory for the NY Now trade show--and as a result, the show's owner and manager has expanded the 365 platform to include the National Stationery Show and International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF).
According to a GLM statement, nearly 12,000 home, lifestyle and craft retailers have registered on nynow365. The directory now encompasses about 45,000 searchable products from more than 1,100 manufacturers. The platform was launched in April, and has logged more than 3.1 million product views and 50,000 unique visitors, said GLM's chairman and CEO, Charles McCurdy.
"We introduced the online directory as part of a strategy to expand market services and opportunities for buyer-seller connectivity," McCurdy said. "Its ease of use and image-based layout have had instant appeal for retailers and manufacturers alike."
Registered site users can go to nynow365.com to conduct searches by product category or by NY Now collection, request product in information, compile product lists and create image boards using their favorite products and manufacturers.
To participate in the 365 platform, exhibitors may contact Leonard Roberto, GLM vice president of audience data, at email@example.com or at 914-421-3334. Retailers can register by visiting nynow365.com, stationeryshow365.com and icff365.com.
