GLM Slims Gift Fair by One Day

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-The New York International Gift Fair will be cut back by one day, beginning with this summer's show, according to a statement from GLM, the show's owner and manager.

This summer's Gift Fair will run from Aug. 18-22. The move is the result a recent exhibitor survey regarding the Gift Fair's length, GLM said. The show will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day except for Wednesday the 22nd, when it will close at 2 p.m.

"Based on daily traffic and attendance patterns over the past few shows, as well as feedback from both exhibitors and buyers, we anticipate that attendance will not be affected negatively by this change," GLM said.
