Heimtextil Attendance, Exhibitor List Grew

FRANKFURT, Germany--Attendance by trade visitors at the recently completed Heimtextil totaled 73,000, three percent over last year, according to a statement from Messe Frankfurt, owner and manager of the annual textiles trade show.

In addition, total exhibitors increased five percent over last year's show. Detlef Braun, member of Messe Frankfurt's board of management, said the trade visitors came from 136 countries, up from 120 countries represented at last year's Heimtextil. The number of exhibitors reached 2,061, representing 60 countries, the statement said.

The attendees included purchasers, retailers, interior designers, architects, product designers and contract-furnishings executives. The 10 best represented visitor nations were Italy, Turkey, Great Britain, China, Spain, the United States, France, The Netherlands, Poland and Russia.
