HFPA Calls for Participation in Home for the Cure Team

NEW YORK--The Home Fashion Products Association has extended an invitation to participate in its Home for the Cure team for the Komen NYC Race for the Cure on Sept. 12.

The race will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Participation is open to anyone, and a Web site, komennyc.org/site/TR/Race/race2010-wide?pg=team&fr_id=1210&team_id=40080, has been established on which participants can join by clicking on "JOIN TEAM."

Elizabeth Miller, senior vice president of style and design for Karastan Rugs and an active member of the New York chapter of Susan G. Komen organization, died on May 3 after a five-year-long battle with breast cancer.
