Hollander Tabs Torres as Vice President of Merchandising

BOCA RATON, Fla.-Hector Torres has been named vice president of merchandising at Hollander Home Fashions.

In this newly created position, Torres is responsible for merchandising activities concentrating on the company's department-store and specialty-store businesses. He reports to Beth Mack, chief merchandising officer. Mack said Torres' appointment is part of Hollander's long-term growth strategy, which includes "investing in key personnel for specific areas of growth within our company."

Before joining Hollander, Torres was vice president of product development and marketing for Perfect Fit Industries. His career also includes product-development, merchandising and marketing posts with VF Corp. and Tropical Sportswear International.
