Hunter Douglas Begins Summer Sale

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J.-From June 1 through Aug. 15, Hunter Douglas will run the "It's Sheer Genius" summer sale.

The event is designed to attract consumers to aligned Hunter Douglas dealers, and help those dealers close larger and more profitable sales, according to a company statement.

The program includes mail-in rebates on Pirouette window shadings, Silhouette window shadings and Luminette Privacy Sheers and Modern Draperies.

The promotion is also supported by a dealer kit with marketing materials, which is available in two versions, one for storefront dealers and one for shop-at-home dealers. The storefront-dealer kit includes advertising and retail point-of-sale materials, including counter card, posters, danglers, store/van window decals, on-hold message, radio spots and an e-blast graphic.

Customizable advertising materials are also posted on my.hunterdouglas.com in the My Brand Builder tool.

Many expected 2016 would be a banner year, but the political and economic climate softened consumer confidence. It was also a year consumers spent more lavishly on home remodeling rather than decorating.
