Kennedy Takes Charge at Bardwil

NEW YORK-Alan Kennedy has been named president of Bardwil, thus becoming responsible for the company's sales, marketing, sourcing and operations.

The position is a new one for Bardwil. Previously, these functions had been handled by Nancy Kristoff, president of sales, and Derek Pierce, chief operations officer. Kristoff and Pierce have left the company to pursue other interests.

Before joining Bardwil, Kennedy was senior vice president of global sales and the Polo RL division at WestPoint Home.

In addition, Rick Rogers has joined Bardwil as executive vice president of sourcing, also a new position with the company. Rogers is responsible for sourcing, working with Bardwil's procurement staff and with its vendor partners in Asia. He reports to Kennedy.

Before joining Bardwil, Rogers was president of Convergence Home Textiles, a consulting firm on sourcing.
