Las Vegas Market TodayLAS VEGAS-The winter edition of Las Vegas Market opens today as the trade show moves into its 11th year.

Among some of the more notable product introductions to be seen at this week’s market, Surya will continue its January-long launch of a new, curated selection of floor and table lamps. The grouping represents an enhancement to its lighting line, which made its first entry into the marketplace two years ago.

Still one of the biggest mattress markets in the industry, Las Vegas Market this week will offer notable introductions in this category. These include Tempur-Pedic’s launch of its Tempur Breeze line of mattresses with cooling technology, designed for those who “sleep hot.”

The Phillips Collection will host several events this week, including a luxury market discussion with Brandon Smith of DCoopMedia. Scheduled for today at 3:30 p.m., the discussion will offer Smith’s views of the fundamental shifts within the luxury marketplace.

Furniture First will debut an interactive kiosk in its showroom here, which will allow members of the buying group to access information on the 165 vendor programs it offers. The 49-inch touchscreen kiosk will feature Market Specials and Best Sellers, along with summary sheets from all participating members.

Attendees and exhibitors looking for the latest trends and news—along with those looking for some entertainment after show hours—should be sure to pick up a copy of Las Vegas Market Today, which was produced by HFN along with its sister publications Gifts & Decorative Accessories and Home & Textiles Today.
