July 16, 2014,
SHELTON, Conn.-The Latex International factory on River Road here, which had been shut down by fires two weeks ago, is back producing at full capacity, according to a company statement.
The statement said Latex International has begun making latex cores and will begin manufacturing additional products by the end of this week. Manufacturing of rolled goods is at full capacity, and product is being shipped both from here and from its facility in Texas. David Fisher, the company's president and CEO, said the cleanup of the facility "was executed quickly, allowing us to return to business as usual with minimal disruption to our customers."
