Levine Tabbed to Lead Surya Outdoor

CALHOUN, Ga.-Surya has appointed Jim Levine to the newly created position of vice president of Surya Outdoor.

In his new role, Levine is in charge of expanding Surya's outdoor product offerings, along with building and overseeing a sales force focusd specifically on retailers of outdoor products. He reports to Seth King, Surya's vice president of sales.

Surya's outdoor line includes rugs, pillows and poufs. Ceramics, hurricane lamps, tabletop products, outdoor mirrors and outdoor lighting will debut at the 2014 International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market in September.

Before joining Surya, Levine headed importing and manufacturing for a startup outdoor furnishings company. In his 32-year career in the casual furniture industry, he was also owner and CEO of Porch & Patio, a casual furniture store, and vice president of Robb & Stucky Patio.
