MMPI: California on Forefront of International Design

LOS ANGELES-A strong line-up of unique, on-trend products and collections will debut at the California Gift Show later this month, according to show owner and organizer MMPI. There will be an emphasis on the region's emerging product designers, artists and craftsmen.

"California Gift Show delivers a unique marketplace for sourcing both a dynamic breadth of coveted, leading lines while also introducing the region's cutting-edge craftsmen driving the industry towards the bespoke movement," said Jeff Sampson, vice president of marketing, California Gift Show/L.A. Mart/L.A. Mart Design Center.  "This innovative mix of established and emerging product influencers coupled with our celebration of the California lifestyle and its impact on consumer trends reinforces our mission in creating a relevant, inspired buying experience to serve the modern retailer."

New to Los Angeles Convention Center, The Editor At Large curated exhibition, California Bespoke introduces to buyers a gallery-inspired design showcase presenting one-of-a-kind, limited edition and new-to-market home fashions, accessories, hand-crafted objects and original works of art from the region's next generation of design tastemakers.

Prior to arriving at California Gift Show, buyers can preview new products launching at Market with the new CGS Look Book, an easy-to-navigate e-catalog emailed to attendees in advance of the show.

The California Gift Show takes place in permanent showrooms at the L.A. Mart July 19 - 25 (Design Studio + Beckman's Handcrafted Show L.A runs July 22 - 25), and from July 22 - 25 in the Temporaries at the L.A. Convention Center.
